Matthias chose one of my designs from the 2019 collection — a piece born from late nights, loud music, and too much coffee. I love when that happens. When someone connects with a piece that already exists, it feels like it finally found its person.
Over two long days we watched it come alive — the paper turning to skin, the static image shifting with every breath and movement.
We talked, we drank more coffee, and by the end, it felt less like a tattoo and more like a collaboration between two people who saw the same thing in a piece of art.
I’ve included the original artwork here so you can see how designs from my shop evolve once they hit the skin — the way line, form, and texture transform under the machine.
