Trying to describe my tattoos is hard enough… but trying to explain your idea and how it could become one of my pieces? Yeah, that’s a whole different challenge.
Over the years I’ve tried lots of ways of working with clients, and what usually works best is this: either you start with one of my tattoos and use it as a kind of skeleton for your idea, or you take it as inspiration for something completely new. That’s usually how people end up with something they really love.
Have a look at the tattoos below. I’ve written a little note with each one about how it came together—this should give you an idea of how I like to work.
When you’re ready, just pick your favourite of my tattoos (please, don’t send other artists’ work) and tell me how you want to use it: whether you want your own version or if it’s just the starting point for a totally new idea.
