Trying to describe my tattoos is hard enough… but trying to explain your idea and how it could become one of my pieces? Yeah, that’s a whole different challenge.
Over the years I’ve tried lots of ways of working with clients on custom tattoo.
What I’ve found usually works best is when I’m left to just make the art and then the client wear it. If this sounds like what you’re looking for, please visit my shop and take a look at what I have on offer there.
If you must have that picture of your granny in your tattoo then please start with one of my tattoos and use it as a kind of skeleton for your idea. That’s usually how people end up with something they really love that still has a custom element or two.
Have a look at the tattoos below. I’ve written a little note with each one about how it came together—this should give you an idea of how I like to work.
When you’re ready, just pick your favourite of my tattoos (please, don’t send other artists’ work) and tell me how you want to use it: whether you want your own version or if it’s just the starting point for a totally new idea.
